Long lives the display

Klaus Wammes explains at the third quarterly meeting 2015 of the COG how to implement long-term availability and reliability of displays

Gundersheim 29th September 2015. Displays are not necessarily disposable commodity. At the third quarterly meeting of the COG (Component Obsolescence Group) Germany e.V. Klaus Wammes therefore gives a lecture on long-term availability of displays. Wammes is the CEO of i-sft, a supplier, manufacturer and leading provider of highly specialized technical services and customized display solutions for use in the capital goods sector. In his talk he also explains the context of cost and profit centers, outsourcing of expertise and the provision of expert advice and that continuing availability can only be guaranteed through a cooperation of all stakeholders that may occur along the value chain.

Ten percent discount on new i-sft product family for DFF members

Gundersheim, July 22, 2015. The i-sft GmbH granted the members of the German Flat Panel Display Forum (DFF) a ten percent discount on their new portable micro spectrometers as well as on other measurement devices from this new product family for applications in lighting and display technology. I-sft is based in Gundersheim, Germany, and a manufacturer and leading provider of highly specialized technical services and customized display solutions for use in the capital goods sector. By its latest cost-effective deployment of devices the company supports all DFF members. Thus the review of functionality and quality of the increasingly complex display components and systems can be implemented at short notice, anywhere on their own and even with a smaller budget.

Gundersheim, June 24th, 2015. The technology company Wammes & Partner aims to create a technology park in Gundersheim near Worms for high tech companies in the field of applied physics. The company is settled there itself along with subsidiaries on a 20,000 square meter site with approximately 4,000 square meters of offices as well as functional and clean rooms. Now Wammes offers other companies units up to 1,000 square meters for rent. The aim is to locate companies at the same site to realize synergistic effects and joint projects. The site has direct access to the motorway A61 with a 40 minutes drive to Frankfurt Airport. Due to its central location within Germany, Gundersheim is also suited as a German office for internationally operating companies. A combination that makes it possible to be directly productive and optimizing costs at the same time - an advantage for start-ups and already established specialists.
