Ten percent discount on new i-sft product family for DFF members
Gundersheim, July 22, 2015. The i-sft GmbH granted the members of the German Flat Panel Display Forum (DFF) a ten percent discount on their new portable micro spectrometers as well as on other measurement devices from this new product family for applications in lighting and display technology. I-sft is based in Gundersheim, Germany, and a manufacturer and leading provider of highly specialized technical services and customized display solutions for use in the capital goods sector. By its latest cost-effective deployment of devices the company supports all DFF members. Thus the review of functionality and quality of the increasingly complex display components and systems can be implemented at short notice, anywhere on their own and even with a smaller budget.
The intention of the DFF is to be a one-stop-shop for companies in Europe when it comes to professional display questions. This includes company-independent and flexible education. As a DFF member i-sft therefore not only contributes their expertise to small businesses. By their measuring instruments other members from now on also receive an easier access to necessary data and technical helping hands. The in March newly introduced devices, including their components such as touch screen, processor, software, battery and integrating sphere, represent the first family of measurement devices that are truly mobile and calibrated CCD micro-spectrometers for visible light from all sources. Therefore they universally can be used for almost all applications in lighting and display technology, such as automotive, biology and chemistry, plant breeding and many more.
"These instruments are small, cost-effective and efficient and can be used in various ways. This creates an additional incentive for interested companies to join the association, use the accumulated expertise and to extend it simultaneously”, explains Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, president of the DFF. "Also the participation of new and not only German companies is highly appreciated, since the DFF wishes to increase its attractiveness as a competent partner for display-related technologies and services for members and not-yet-members, be it manufacturer, service provider or academic research institutions."
