Electronic-Displays-Center with over 500 customers & partners

The Electronic Displays Center (EDCG), which is home to Wammes und Partner GmbH, among others, can look back on more than 500 customers. This was the result of an internal count within the scope of an adaptation of the web presence. At the same time, it was shown that the customers are represented very broadly across industries.

In connection with an expansion of the web presence, where a reference list of references for the website was to be created that could be looked up and searched for - in extracts - the EDCG counted and evaluated its customers. It became clear that the centre, mainly due to the 25 years of business existence of the Wammes & Partner GmbH, which is based there, has produced, modified, analysed, repaired and evaluated flat screens, electronic displays and technical light fittings for extreme applications for more than 500 different customers and partners in over a dozen industries. Technical lighting and display systems for special applications of the product areas "i-sft" and "Global Lightz" are also included in the count.

"Basically, the website should be expanded to include references in the form of customer logos, as it is extremely rare for NDA's to indicate projects as case studies," says Klaus Wammes, Managing Director of Wammes & Partner GmbH. "We are very proud that so many partners from so many different industries have become partners. So far we have not even been able to enter half of the logos". Among the highlights, the acknowledged expert in optoelectronics includes equipping London underground stations and trains as well as driver's cab displays of Deutsche Bahn ICE's with flat screens. This also shows how broad the range of applications is. All in all, display, lighting and problem solutions from mining and transportation to the aviation industry, shipping, medicine, government services and science were used.
